Sea Stars on Friday

Happy Friday!

Today's first card started with a base of Pear Pizzaz.  The layers are from SU DSP All is Calm and Smokey Slate card stock.  The sea star is from SU Picture Perfect and is stamped in Blushing Bride and Powder Pink on Powder Pink card stock.  The sentiment is from SU Christmas Bliss stamped in Lost Lagoon.  The dots are dew drops by Robin's Nest.

This Christmas card is for Sunday Sketches and The Card Concept:

Next is an aquatic slimline card.  I started with a 3.5x8.5 piece of SU Seaside Spray card stock and stamped waves from Fancy Pants Summer Soiree (an early naughts set that I still adore).  I used the SU Stamparatus, which let me stamp "layers" on the card by moving the stamp plate down a notch for each wave.  Brilliant!  I dry embossed a piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the Coastal Weave embossing folder.  Then I stamped the surfer, from an old SU single stamp, twice with Versamark and heat embossed one with gold and the other with black.  I fussy cut both and put the black on top of the gold to make it stand out.  I stamped the sentiment and banner from Concord and 9th's Pop Art Pineapple stamp set, and die cut the banner, pineapple top and flowers/sea stars with the matching die set.

Thats it for today!  Wishing everyone stay safe and have a wonderful weekend!
